Стисло охарактеризовано осмислення історіографії заявленої проблематики. Виявлено, що на сучасному етапі боротьби України за свою незалежність під час повномасштабної війни, що продовжує тривати на території Української держави, виняткового значення набуває українознавство. З’ясовано, що українознавство як цілісна система наукових інтегративних знань про Україну та світове українство має стати міцним ідеологічним підґрунтям для боротьби із росією та рашизмом. Показано, що важливого значення набуває вивчення методологічного інструментарію українознавства та опрацювання сучасних методів власне українознавчого дослідження. Наголошено, що питання теорії та методології належать до тих вагомих проблем, що вимагають з боку науковців постійної уваги та наукового осмислення відповідно до потреб наукової практики й рівня свідомості громадян. Доведено, що для гармонійного розвитку українського етносу й Української держави найважливішим та найвідповідальнішим завданням є розвиток українознавства не тільки як науки, патріотичного та україноцентричного світогляду, а й навчальної дисципліни, збільшення його ролі у суспільних, державотворчих та освітніх процесах. Виявлено, що актуальність дослідження методологічних інструментів для комплексного та всебічного українознавчого пошуку зумовлюється недооцінкою серед частини сучасних дослідників значення методології для наукового пізнання. Наголошено, що дослідження методологічного та термінологічного інструментарію українознавства допоможе дослідникам-початківцям осягнути саму суть наукового дослідження. Зазначено, що вивчення основної українознавчої термінології є необхідним етапом у процесі вивчення українознавства як світоглядної науки й навчальної дисципліни та допоможе у майбутньому здійснити системне та цілісне українознавче дослідження.The article analyses the terminological and methodological tools of Ukrainian studies. The understanding of the historiography of the stated problem is briefly characterized. It is revealed that Ukrainian studies acquire exceptional importance at the current stage of Ukraine's struggle for independence during the full-scale war that continues on its territory. It is found out that Ukrainian studies as a whole system of scientific integrative knowledge about Ukraine and world Ukrainians should become a strong ideological basis for the fight against Russia and rashism. It is shown that the study of the methodological tools of Ukrainian studies and the development of modern methods of actual Ukrainian studies are of significant importance. It is emphasised that the issues of theory and methodology belong to those important problems that require constant attention from scientists and scientific understanding, in accordance with the needs of scientific practice and the level of consciousness of citizens. It has been proven that for the harmonious development of the Ukrainian ethnic group and the Ukrainian state, the most important and responsible task is the development of Ukrainian studies, not only as a science, a patriotic, and a Ukrainian-centric worldview, but also as an educational discipline, increasing its role in social, state-building, and educational processes. It is revealed that the significance of the study of methodological tools for complex and comprehensive Ukrainian studies is caused by an underestimation of the importance of methodology for scientific cognition among some modern researchers. It is emphasised that studying the methodological and terminological tools of Ukrainian studies will help beginner researchers understand the essence of scientific research.
