Українознавчий альманах(21), 63–68.https://ir.library.knu.ua/handle/15071834/18295The article points to the decrease in the general cultural level of the population of Ukraine, which clearly does not contribute to the consolidation of the Ukrainian nation.In the article the author tries to discover the reasons for the difficulties that arise on the way of Ukraine to establish it as an independent,separate, civilized nation. First of all, the problem is the insufficient education of the bearer of new social conditions.At the same time,, it is stressed that Ukraine must find its own individual path of development and this way is seen in the creation of a national system for self-realization of the individual. The author believes that the high rate of development of the eastern countries, primarily China and Japan, is due to the fact that in this countries since ancient times human development systems have been popular. Without this system of self-realization of personality, it is difficult to solve the nation's health problem, even if to improve medical services. It is pointed out that at the heart of any system of personal self-realization lies a certain ideology, as a system of views, mentality and corresponding institutions. The process of de-ideologization of the educational process, which began in 1985, together with the rejection of the Marxist-Leninist ideology, did not form a national ideology. The work of Ukrainian authors on this issue is analyzed. It is pointed out that during the time of the Soviet power the self-realization of man was considered basically as a shock work for the good of the Motherland. At the same time, the problem of development of individual abilities of man remained on the sidelines. The author of the article believes that the development of scientific and technological progress must go hand in hand with the improvement of man himself. The article examines the role of religion in this aspect and the problem of the relationship between paganism and Christianity in Ukraine throughout the millennial history. It is pointed out that the problem of two-faiths played a negative role in the history of Ukraine. The reasons why Christianity failed to fully realize its potential are considered. The factors that influence the process of self-realization are analyzed. It is concluded that it is necessary to introduce a compulsory educational discipline called "Fundamentals of Self-Realization of the Personality" and the creation of relevant departments at a high professional level to ensure the teaching of this discipline.Key words: democratization, self-realization of personality, the Ukrainian nation, religion, paganism, Christianity, scientific and technical progress.Автор статті намагається розкрити причини тих труднощів, які виникають на шляху України до утвердження її в якості самостійної, незалежної, цивілізованої держави. Такою причиною, в першу чергу, називається недостатнє виховання носія нових соціальних умов. Підкреслюється, що Україна повинна знайти свій індивідуальний шлях розвитку, і цей шлях бачиться в створенні національної системи самореалізації особистості. Автор вважає, що високий темп розвитку східних країн, в першу чергу, Китаю і Японії, обумовлений тим, що там здавна були популярні системи вдосконалення людини. Вказується, що в основі будь-якої системи самореалізації особи лежить певна ідеологія. Процес деідеологізації учбового процесу, який почався в 1985 р. разом з відмовою від марксистсько-ленінської ідеології, не сформував національну ідеологію в завершеному вигляді. Автор статті вважає, що розвиток науково-технічного прогресу повинен йти паралельно з удосконаленням самої людини. У статті розглядається роль релігії в цьому аспекті. Аналізуються чинники, які впливають на процес самореалізації особистості. Робиться висновок про необхідність введення обов'язкової учбової дисципліни під назвою "Основи самореалізації особистості" і створення відповідних кафедр для забезпечення викладання цієї дисципліни.Ключові слова: демократизація, самореалізація особи, українська нація, релігія, язичництво, християнство, науково-технічний прогрес.ukСтаття
