Відвідування об’єктів природно-заповідного фонду слід вважати екотуристичною діяльністю, так званим «екотуризмом». Вперше про екологічний туризм, як вид діяльності почали говорити іще у 80-90 роках минулого століття. Серед усіх типів об’єктів природно-заповідного фонду, найбільш придатними до залучення до рекреаційно-туристичної діяльності є національні природні парки. Україна володіє значним потенціалом для розвитку екологічного туризму – створено 53 національні природні парки у всіх природних зонах країни. Однією з головних проблем розвитку екологічного туризму є рівномірний розподіл відвідувачів НПП протягом року. Для дослідження було обрано Дермансько- Острозький НПП, що створений у 2009 році у Рівненській області. Проаналізувавши природний потенціал Дермано-Острозького парку слід зазначити, що екотуристичну діяльність можна здійснювати майже цілий рік розвиваючи такі підвиди екторузму як фіто- , зоо-, орнітоекотурзм в поєднанні з активними формами туризму.Anthropogenic impact on the environment is growing every year and is becoming more negative. There are almost no clean (unpolluted) places or "untouched" nature left on our planet. At the same time, every year the number of people willing to relax in the bosom of pure nature grows. It is possible to find "such nature" either in hard-to-reach and not very comfortable places, or by visiting the objects of the nature reserve fund. Visiting nature reserves should be considered an ecotourism activity, so-called "ecotourism". For the first time about ecological tourism as a type of activity began to talk in the 80-90s of last century. Of all the types of nature reserves, the most suitable for engaging in recreational and tourist activities are national nature parks. Ukraine has significant potential for the development of ecological tourism - 53 national nature parks have been created in all natural areas of the country. One of the main problems in the development of ecological tourism is the even distribution of visitors to the NNP throughout the year. The main part of tourist flows falls on May-September, and the rest of the period is almost not visited. The Dermansko-Ostroh NNP, established in 2009 in Rivne region, was chosen for the study. This park is represented mainly by landscapes of the Polissya type, although very susceptible to anthropogenic influence in the XX century.
