Львові з метою "визволення Духа нації" – відродження власної національної духовної культури (етнорелігії). Уведено в науковий обіг осмислення нових архівних матеріалів (листів, документів), а також філософсько-релігієзнавчої спадщини В.Шаяна. Зроблено висновок про непересічне духовно-культурне значення ідей Ордену Бога Сонця у вітчизняній і європейській духовній культурі.The article considers the history and metaphysics of the religious and political organization created by Professor V. Shayan in 1943 in Lviv in order to "liberate the Spirit of the nation" – the revival of its own national spiritual culture (ethnoreligy, native faith). Methodological bases of this article are textological, historical and metaphysical methods. Firstly, the author investigates the history of The Knightly Order of the Sun God, and therefore applies the principle of historicism, which describes the facts that were able to collect from various sources about The Order, his knights and sympathizers of Shayan's idea. Secondly, the philosophical heritage of V. Shayan, who was an idealist, and metaphysics for him was one of the most important methods of knowing the spiritual essence of the culture of our ancestors. Therefore, metaphysics may well be the object of study and is justified by a religious knowledge point of view. While studying the scientific, artistic and epistolary heritage of V. Shayan, textological methods of work with texts of his works, archive and bibliographic apparatus were used (collection, study and classification of sources). The philosophical comprehension of the spiritual and cultural phenomenon and the importance of The Knightly Order of the Sun God in the life of the Ukrainian nation is described with the using of national-existential methodology, which makes it possible to see any phenomenon through the prism of authentic Ukrainian axiology. New scientific materials (letters, documents), as well as philosophical and religious heritage of V. Shayan were introduced into the scientific circulation. Was made a conclusion about the importance of the spiritual and cultural heritage of Professor Shayan and the value of The Knightly Order of the Sun God ideas in the domestic and European spiritual culture.
