Український психологічний журнал, (1), 122–131.https://ir.library.knu.ua/handle/15071834/27154Political thinking is a process of solving problems that are produced in political activities, principle of which is a struggle for the status and resources of society. Overpower over all other manifestations of mental activity, political thinking can function as higher-order thinking, causing human activity in general. In the process of solving the political problems, thinking includes two interrelated components — understanding and resolution. Process of understanding compose linking the conditions task and the aim. Stages of understanding correspond to stages of solving the problem, because on every stage of mental activity, understanding is a precondition for the completion each of them. Understanding of the task and understanding of the unknown response function as two stages of understanding, between which there is «processual crosspiece» (by V. Molyako), that boundary the transition from of understanding what is asked, to understanding that we should discover. «Processual crosspiece» functions was established as process which consists of at least four phases: 1) a statement of baseline conditions and their clarifying; 2) selection of features that make mediation function (separation of common semantic-meanings construct, which has different functional loading in the context of «before» and «after» of the transition from of understanding to understanding the unknown); 3) structuring of the transformation-modulation construct; 4) securing significant signs and understanding of the unknown response (which is possible at all levels of understanding).У статті розглянуто окремі закономірності процесу розуміння актором політичної задачі.
