The current regulatory framework is determined, on the basis of which the relevant personnel procedure is carried out in Latvia. Special attention is paid to clarification of the list of basic requirements to the candidate for the position of judge, volume restrictions in the exercise of the right person to judge, collectively constitute the regulatory model of legal work of the candidate for the position of judge. Based on the General analysis of the stages of the emergence of labor relations with the judge, the time of the emergence of these legal relations is specified. The conclusions of the article summarize the results of the study.Стаття присвячена комплексному аналізу досвіду правового регулювання виникнення трудових відносин із кандидатами на посаду судді в Латвійській Республіці. Окреслюється актуальна нормативна база, на основі якої в Латвії здійснюється відповідна кадрова процедура. Особлива увага приділяється з’ясуванню переліку базових вимог до кандидата на посаду судді, обсягу обмежень в реалізації особою права на доступ до посади судді, що сукупно складають нормативну модель трудової правосуб’єктності кандидата на посаду судді. На підставі загального аналізу етапів виникнення трудових правовідносин із суддею, уточнюється момент виникнення цих правових відносин.
