Viewpoints of researchers are analyzed and interconnections between the processes of interpretation and translation are established; the notion of “interlingual translation” is given; different types of translation are presented; the role of a translator is defined in the process of reflecting the author’s intention; lexical, semantic and stylistic peculiarities of foreign newspaper texts are established.Keywords: Interpretation, Newspaper Text, Sense, Style, Translation, Formation of translation Competence.Наталія ГромоваСтаття присвячена особливостям формування компетенції інтерпретації та перекладу іншомовних текстів періодичних видань, зокрема англомовних газетних текстів, яка актуалізована в зв’язку з євроінтеграційним курсом України та зростанням ролі комунікації з активним використанням англійської мови. Проаналізовані погляди дослідників на взаємозв’язок інтерпретації та перекладу; розглянуто зміст поняття міжмовного перекладу; проаналізовано види перекладу; визначено роль перекладача у відтворенні замислу автора; встановлено лексико-семантичні та стиліс тичні особливості іншомовних газетних текстів.Ключові слова: газетні тексти, інтерпретація, переклад, смисл, стиль, особливості формування компетенції інтерпретації та перекладу.ukСтаття
