The first chapter systematizes the theoretical foundations of diplomatic discourse in the context of its interdisciplinary and transformational aspects. The essence of the concept of "discourse" is revealed through the linguistic range of interpretation, understanding of the text, context and functional style. Modern discourse is considered against the background of: international relations, politics and diplomacy. The canon of diplomatic discourse unites and synchronizes these spheres in the context of philological studies, communicative paradigms, the nature of language and terminological systems. The features of diplomacy are determined through traditional functions (interaction, dialogue, negotiations, mediation, protection), as well as new functions (models of behavior and positioning in globalization). An interdisciplinary approach and analysis of interlingual communication are relevant for diplomatic discourse. The second section identifies diplomatic discourse as a form of communicative activity, taking into account lexical-terminological and stylistic characteristics. Diplomatic language is a group of professional terms: special vocabulary, scientific and technical terminology, commonly used vocabulary. Diplomatic terminology has a social and extralinguistic dimension by origin. It is stated that diplomatic style is a type of official-business style of speech in international interactions. It has a high level of formalism, a clear text structure, the use of standard language formulas and diplomatic terms. The third section identifies new elements of diplomatic discourse, which include the specifics of diplomatic speech communication in international activities. An important attribute of international politics is various linguistic means for reflecting the interests, positions and actions of its participants. Diplomatic discourse can include various types of dialogue, including: cognitive, conflict, phatic. The communicative vector of diplomacy can be: normative, recommendatory, proclamation, implementation, solidarity, identification, etc. It is determined that the UN is a participant in multilateral diplomacy and international cooperation. Linguistic analysis of UN reports has shown their features in terms of: discourse (institutional, intertextual, recommendatory); genre (official-business, scientific-analytical, institutional-political); syntax, vocabulary, semantics (complex, neutral typical).В магістерській роботі представлено наукове дослідження з лінгвістичної проблематики дипломатичного дискурсу ООН. У першому розділі систематизовано теоретичні засади дипломатичного дискурсу в контексті його міждисциплінарних і трансформаційних аспектів. Розкрито сутність поняття «дискурс» через лінгвістичний діапазон інтерпретації, розуміння тексту, контексту і функціонального стилю. Сучасний дискурс розглядатися на фоні: міжнародних відносин, політики і дипломатії. Канон дипломатичного дискурсу об’єднує і синхронізує ці сфери в контексті філологічних досліджень, комунікативних парадигм, природи мови і термінологічних систем. Визначено особливості дипломатії через традиційні функції (взаємодія, діалог, переговори, медіація, захист), а також нові функції (моделі поведінки та позиціонування в глобалізації). Актуальним для дипломатичного дискурсу є міждисциплінарний підхід та аналіз міжмовного спілкування. У другому розділі ідентифіковано дипломатичний дискурс як форму комунікативної діяльності з урахуванням лексико-термінологічних і стилістичних характеристик. Дипломатична мова – це групи професійних термінів: спеціальної лексики, науково-технічної термінології, загальновживаної лексики. Дипломатична термінологія за походженням має соціальний і екстралінгвістичний вимір. Констатовано, що дипломатичний стиль це вид офіційно-ділового стилю мови у міжнародних інтеракціях. Він має високий рівень формалізму, чітку структуру тексту, використання стандартних мовних формул і дипломатичних термінів. У третьому розділі визначено нові елементи дипломатичного дискурсу, які включають специфіку дипломатичної мовленнєвої комунікації в міжнародній діяльності. Важливою атрибутикою міжнародної політики є різні мовні засоби для відображення інтересів, позицій і акцій його учасників. Дипломатичний дискурс може включати різні типи діалогу, серед них: когнітивний, конфліктний, фатичний. Комунікативний вектор дипломатії може бути: нормативний, рекомендаційний, прокламаційний, імплементаційний, солідаризаційний, ідентифікаційний та ін. Визначено, що ООН є учасником багатосторонньої дипломатії та міжнародного співробітництва.
