Attention is paid to social threats at different levels of legal and economic regulation. Approaches to understanding social security as a separate important component of national security are revealed. It is concluded that socio-economic security at the regional level is provided and guaranteed only if the interests of all regional development actors are taken into account: business, industries, cities, districts and the population.У даній статті розглянуто питання щодо об’єктом соціального безпеки в загальному вигляді. Приділено увагу соціальним загрозам на різних рівнях правого та економічного регулювання. Розкрито підходи до розуміння  соціальної безпеки як окремого важливого складника національної безпеки.
