Досліджено теоретико-правові засади функціонування європейської архітектури безпеки, зокрема інституційні механізми ЄС і НАТО. Проаналізовано правові інструменти інтеграції України, включаючи статус кандидата на членство в ЄС, участь у Спільній зовнішній і безпековій політиці, двосторонні безпекові угоди та механізми оборонно-промислової кооперації. Окремо досліджено суб’єктну роль України у формуванні нової архітектури безпеки. Наукова новизна роботи полягає у поєднанні правового та практичного підходів до аналізу інтеграції України в європейську систему безпеки, а також у переосмисленні її ролі як активного суб’єкта формування безпекового порядку, а не виключно об’єкта зовнішньої політики. Практичне значення отриманих результатів полягає у можливості їх використання при формуванні державної політики України у сфері безпеки та європейської інтеграції, а також у діяльності аналітичних центрів і в освітньому процесі закладів вищої освіти.Qualifying scientific work for obtaining the educational degree at the second (Master’s) level of higher education in the field of study 28 «Public Management and Administration», specialty 281 «Public Management and Administration». – Educational and Scientific Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine, 2026. The thesis provides a comprehensive analysis of Ukraine’s integration into the European security system in the context of the transformation of the security order after 2022. It examines the theoretical and legal foundations of the European security architecture, in particular the institutional mechanisms of the European Union and NATO. The study analyzes the legal instruments of Ukraine’s integration, including EU candidate status, participation in the Common Foreign and Security Policy, bilateral security agreements, and mechanisms of defence-industrial cooperation. Particular attention is paid to Ukraine’s role as an actor in shaping a new security architecture. The scientific novelty of the research lies in combining legal and practical approaches to the analysis of Ukraine’s integration into the European security system, as well as in rethinking its role as an active contributor to the security order rather than merely an object of foreign policy.
