Визначено склад й особливості престижу державної служби з позиції його формування. Уніфіковано механізми підвищення престижу державної служби. Охарактеризовано сучасний стан і проблеми функціонування державної служби в Україні та обґрунтовано об’єктивну необхідність її модернізації. Проведено діагностику основних механізмів, що формують престиж вітчизняної державної служби в Україні. Розроблено практичні рекомендації щодо впровадження механізмів підвищення престижу державної служби в Україні з урахуванням прогресивного міжнародного досвіду у цій сфері.The state of research into the phenomenon of «public service prestige» in scientific discourse is analyzed and a conceptual and categorical apparatus in this field is developed. The composition and features of the prestige of the civil service from the point of view of its formation are determined. The mechanisms for increasing the prestige of the civil service have been unified. The current state and problems of the functioning of the civil service in Ukraine are characterized and the objective necessity of its modernization is substantiated. Diagnostics of the main mechanisms that form the prestige of the national civil service in Ukraine (namely, personnel, motivational, informational and communicative, organizational and legal) have been carried out.
